Donate to Help Palestinian Families Survive. This page will be updated as I’m made aware of more families in need of support.

Millions of lives are at risk in Gaza and the West bank as Israel continues to target and kill civilians, including children, pregnant women, elderly, and disabled Palestinians. Entire families have been murdered. Infrastructure has been destroyed, water tanks, electricity lines, every facet of human life has been assaulted in Gaza. Israeli citizens are blocking humanitarian aid from entering Gaza and human rights organizations have been forced to pull out of the North as it has become too dangerous to deliver life saving resources. Women have claimed having to use tent scraps for feminine sanitary purposes, and wait times for a bathroom in makeshift camps are reaching multiple hours. Bisan Ouda, a Palestinian journalist mentioned on this blog before, has reported having to eat moldy food as there is nothing available. It is for these reasons, and basic humanity, that the world needs to step up to help save Palestinian families. In addition, reports have found that evacuation from Gaza can cost up to $5,000 per person, whereas the average household income for families in Gaza is just over $119 per month. This is why it is so important, and urgent, that we help these families.

Below will be linked GoFundMe pages set up by Palestinians to help them evacuate their homeland and get the resources needed to survive. GoFundMe is a good way to support Palestinians as the money goes directly to the families and can be accessed more easily than aid that is being held back by Israel. Anything helps.

From the GoFundMe: “My name is Asia, and I am reaching out on behalf of my family: Dr. Nusaiba, Sumaya, a mother of two precious daughters, and Asma, a talented photographer. We once enjoyed beautiful and stable lives, each with our own jobs and sources of income, cherishing moments together exploring cafes and tourist spots, capturing memories with photographs. Loved to live! Unfortunately, everything changed for the worse after the events of October 7th. We lost our homes, stability, and livehoods, finding ourselves in tents for displaced people in the Rafah camp in the Gaza Strip. Life became a daily struggle for survival, and our once joyous gatherings turned into the pursuit of basic necessities like collecting firewood for meals. Now, we are in desperate need of immediate financial assistance to cover essential matters.

“So, to everyone who cares about humanity

I, Qasim Al-Kafarna, write this to you in a time of dire need, My family of 12 is currently in Gaza, and I have 11 nephews. My family is facing unimaginable circumstances. My family is desperately seeking your support to help them evacuate to safety. My mother, Lily, my sisters, Warda and Fidaa, my brothers (Iyad, Muhammad, Youssef, Abdullah, Ibrahim, Zakaria, Yahya, Issa, Musa)

I am away from my family because I came to Egypt before the war to receive treatment, I feel helpless while my family endures the hardships of the crisis. The situation has become bad, and I fear for their safety every day. Since October 7, my family's home has been bombed and completely demolished. The occupation forces directed them to move south, but my mother is elderly and cannot walk long distances. Instead, my family was evacuated to the Hafsa School in Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, where they are living in increasingly difficult conditions.

On December 10, two brothers, Iyad and Ibrahim, were arrested from school in Jabalia refugee camp by Israeli occupation forces. Iyad was released three weeks later, but Ibrahim remains missing. We didn't hear anything about him. The Israeli army killed my father and brother Shehadeh in 2006. I don't want to lose any more of my family members, I want to get my family out of Gaza and start a new life.”

“Hello All,

We are currently fundraising on behalf of a family in Gaza who is trying to get out of Gaza through the Rafah crossing and into Egypt. They are very close friends of ours, but we cannot afford to help all of them cross the border alone. They are a family of 7 and is comprised of 2 elderly parents, two young men, a young girl, and a set of twin boys under the age of 18. Unfortunately, while fleeing from Gaza City, most of their passports were left behind in their now destroyed home.

Some of you may be coming from a link on their personal social media accounts. If you are, then you know how selfless they have been throughout everything. They have spent much time and effort to help some of the weakest people in Gaza, whether it be passing out winter items for children, or building tents for some of the displaced people moving into Rafah, or even in October when they bought blankets and passed them out to the people who are displaced and sheltering in the UN schools. This family has given from themselves to help others and they deserve for us to help them get out. Their entire livelihood was destroyed, and when all the dust settles, they will essentially be homeless like thousands of others.
